Butler County High School has earned a $5,000 reward through a partnership with T-Mobile. The money will go toward future projects that benefit BCHS student athletes.
BCHS Principal Stoye Young shared the news as an example of what a strong community partnership can make possible for students.
Collaboration is one of the five pillars of Butler County Schools' Portrait of a Learner, and it comes down to teamwork and connection. We teach it to students in classrooms and on the field. This partnership shows it working at a bigger scale, with a school and a business pulling in the same direction for the kids they both want to see succeed.
Partnerships have always been part of how BCS works. The Portrait of a Learner itself grew out of years of work alongside businesses and community leaders, and each new partner adds to that tradition.
Butler County Schools thanks T-Mobile for investing in BCHS student athletes. We look forward to sharing what these projects become.
