Butler County High School students gathered at the flagpole for See You at the Pole, a nationwide morning when students come together to pray for their schools and communities. The BCHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) invited students to take part.
BCHS Principal Stoye Young shared the morning as an example of Character, one of the five pillars of Butler County Schools' Portrait of a Learner. Character covers personal conduct: how students carry themselves and the kind of people they choose to be.
The students who answered FCA's invitation spent that morning focused on others, praying for BCHS and for the Butler County community around it. Moments like this say a lot about who Butler County students are becoming.
